Book Review: Before It’s Love by Michelle Pennington

Title: Before It’s Love
Author: Michelle Pennington
Release Date: May 14, 2017

Book Summary:

“Just Friends” was harder than they thought.

Moving to Arkansas is hard for Lauren, but it’s worth it to be near her boyfriend and pursue her art degree. That is, until she meets Jake, the guy her roommate is in love with. Now she’s stuck on a merry-go-round of love triangles, and someone is going to get hurt.

Jake is focused on juggling his two careers and taking care of his feisty grandma. The last thing he needs is a serious relationship, so when Lauren moves in, it’s okay that she’s dating someone else. Until being her friend is no longer enough.

Before It’s Love is a sweet romance

I was so excited to learn that Michelle Pennington has a new book out! I have thoroughly enjoyed each book of hers I have read. This one was no exception. I read it all in one sitting because I loved the characters and the story line. It was fun to get a peek into the life of a developing artist too. Lauren’s naivety and sincerity is touching. Jake’s protectiveness and patience is endearing. I loved watching their relationship develop. I see a few side characters that could probably have stories of their own. The feisty Grandma puts the perfect finishing touch to the story. I am ready for more by Michelle Pennington!

Rating: 5 stars – I loved it!!!
