Cheryls review

Enchanting! I received and ARC of this book and was asked to write an honest review specifically on “Spindle Cursed.” I love fairy tale retellings and will probably read and review the other stories too. For now, here is my review of “Spindle Cursed.”

I love the characters in this story!!! Characters are probably the most important story element to me. A beautiful world has also been created by Michelle Pennington. The prince addresses the impossibility of the situation he finds himself in, yet still faces the challenge with courage and strength. A quirky fairy brings spunk and humor to the story. Well developed supporting characters such as another prince and a trusty servant add depth to the story. A beautiful princess inside and out completes the story. I love how the definition of “true love’s kiss” in explored in this story. I fell in love with the characters and see the potential for the story to continue. The story is very well developed for a short story. I want to read more by Michelle Pennington!
