Book Review: Temples Coloring Book by Jeanette Siufanua

Temple coloringTitle: Temples

Release Date: April 2016

Book Summary:

This is a coloring book for grown ups with a religious theme based around temples by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, also known as the Mormons…

I believe that all things in nature and the universe testify of Jesus Christ and His mission. Combining the beautiful designs of nature, with the rich symbolism of temples (that also testify of Him), seemed to be a natural fit…
I have had a very positive response to the pages created, even from people not of my faith.
Each page is filled with symbols interwoven in the designs. They have to do with the creation and the purpose of life. I think you will enjoy discovering these for yourself as you color.” – Jeanette Siufanua

Cheryls review

I love the intricate designs and details on these coloring pages!!! What makes this book so amazing is that the designs have meaning and purpose. They help us ponder temples and the things we learn there. I was so excited to find hidden in the design of the first page a scripture reference to turn to to learn more. The following pages are also accompanied by a scripture or quote to help us ponder the meanings of each page. In the back of the book there is another page tiled “What to Look for in this Book.” It gives hints of what to look for in each coloring page. We can even join in a conversation with the author on her website or FB page to learn more and share our thoughts. The beautiful pictures inspire and uplift! She also has a free coloring page on her website to give us a taste of her beautiful art! I can’t wait for more!
