Book Summary:

Still stinging a year after being dumped by her boyfriend for a fast-talking, black-clad, high-heeled New Yorker, Beth Lawrence decides to leave her calm, predictable, obviously boring life behind and try life in the fast lane for a while—and popular race car driver Eric Davis is just the man to take her for a few laps around the track.
Her Chick-Flick-Clique friends aren’t so sure she’s making the best choice, but she’s ready for a drastic change.

She wants some laughs with no commitment, but can she keep from falling in love with a daredevil with a surprisingly gentle side? Or will her heart hit the wall at two hundred miles an hour?

Anita's Review 2

Oh. My. Word. There are some interesting, entertaining characters in this book. Beth and her speedster ways were highly entertaining to me. Our hero, Eric Davis, was a well-rounded. The other supporting characters were quite adept and enjoyable. I seriously don’t know how Heather Horrocks thinks of all the laugh out loud moments in her novels. This book was no exception. There are also plots twists and settings that enrich this story, the makeover, the chase scene, the office girls and too many others to list.

I love this series of books. Each is a humorous stand-alone and also a great collection. Thank you Heather Horrocks for another great addition to the chick clique.
