Book Summary:

Sienna Whitfield never dreamed that using her photography blog for a social experiment would cause so much trouble—or be so painful. She might have a broken rib and a broken camera, but at least her mom is finally letting her date Lee, the guy of her dreams. Maybe it was worth it. Too bad some problems never go away—especially since new ones are even more complicated. And dangerous.

Cheryls review

I loved the first book in this series,CANDID, so much I couldn’t wait for FOCUSED to be released! It is finally here! I was not disappointed. Sienna, a young photojournalist, has a knack for finding herself in sticky situations. Her fiercely protective boyfriend, Lee, is an all star basketball player who struggles to keep Sienna out of trouble and keep up with his basketball career at the same time. Both of them have big hearts and want to help those around them. I loved that this story was told from both Sienna and Lee’s perspective. It was fun to hear Lee’s thoughts as the story progressed. There was plenty of action that kept me turning the pages till late in the night. There are some fabulous secondary characters too. Sienna and Lee have strong moral values which I loved seeing reflected in their story. It wasn’t easy for them though. I liked seeing them struggle and still fight to keep those morals high. I look forward to more stories by Michelle Pennington!
