Book Summary

Waverly holds the vial of red liquid in her hands. She doesn’t know what it is, or why it’s important. But she knows that the mysterious Shadowface want it, and is willing to do anything to get it.

Waverly hides in the settlement of Elkhorn with Ethan, but it seems that Shadowface has eyes everywhere. Now Waverly must use her power – the ability to see glimpses of the future – to try and determine when Shadowface may strike. Not only does she discover death and destruction ahead, but a betrayal among comrades.

Time is running out and Waverly must find a way to save the only friend she has left – Ethan, defend the settlement of Elkhorn from annihilation, and stop Shadowface once and for all.

I’ve been reading Jason’s books since his debut book, and can not stop! When he first came out with this series on Zombies, I thought I probably wouldn’t like them. Since it was Jason though, I had to give them a try. I can’t get enough. There is gore. There is death. There is joy and a whole lot of sadness. Is life worth living when you’ve lost those you love? Can you get close to someone new if they might be dead tomorrow? Is any of it worth it?

Rating: 5 Stars. I Loved it!
Content: Mostly clean. There is a lot of fighting, and zombies eating humans. It’s done very tastefully though (well…as tastefully as you can get with that subject).
