Book Summary:

A holiday to remember…

Widower Carlos Chavez manages La Joya del Mayan, the most romantic resort in Mexico. On good days, the romance passes unnoticed; on dark days, it only reminds him of his loss.

But the honeymoon suite’s latest guest, Larissa Boyd, has rocked his steadfastness. Stunningly beautiful, she seems lost. And no wonder…she’s on a honeymoon for one!

The chemistry is instant – and their similarities run deep. Could it be that the two loneliest hearts on the island have found love…in the most unexpected of places?

The Unexpected Honeymoon was a cute romance. Carlos and Larissa have both had their hearts broken. Larissa’s heartbreak was recent and she’s bouncing back. Instead of letting her non-refundable tickets go to waste she opts to go on her honeymoon getaway alone. Carlos’s heart was broken long ago but he locked it away and doesn’t intend to get close enough to anyone to let it break again.

What follows is a satisfying story of two deserving people finding that hearts can be healed.

A fantastic setting made for a unique story-line. I loved both of the main characters and was rooting for them to find a happy ending.
