Cheryls review

What an enchanting world Amarissa Ainsworth has created in this book! I was completely drawn into it. I loved the characters and their relationships to one another. The strong family bonds particularly between brother and sister made my heart smile time and time again. I loved the relationship between Aiden and Leila. It was tender, sweet, and often made me laugh. This clean fantasy was full of surprises and I often didn’t want to put it down. I want to share it with my teens. I think both my son and daughter would enjoy it. I took one star off because sometimes it was difficult to follow which point of view we were hearing the story from. I loved seeing the story from several characters perspective. I just was a little lost when point of view jumped back and forth from one to another character very quickly. Still, I want to read more. I am anxious for the next book in the series.
