Book Review: For Love and Money by Paige Timothy

For Love or MoneyTitle: For Love and Money

Author: Paige Timothy

Series: Main Street Merchants #2

Released: September 29, 2014

Book Summary:

Cynical Morgan has just about decided that no one could possibly fall in love with her – all the good guys want perfect girls, and she’s anything but perfect. But then along comes the guy who falls head-over-heels in love with her just as she is and helps her find the bright side of life again.

I ended up loving this one. I honestly wasn’t sure during the first couple of chapters if I would and here is why…

This book begins at the exact same point the first book in this series starts. I was expecting it to start where the first book ended but instead I was seeing some of the same things happen from someone else’s perspective. I already knew who Morgan was in love with because we were told in the first book so it kinda took away the anticipation and wonder of where things were going to go when a gorgeous guy walks into the bank she works at. Don’t get me wrong it was still interesting and there were new characters and parts of the story that were original but it wasn’t until I was about 1/3 of the way in that I really started to love this story. Once I hit that point I didn’t want to put this down until I was done.

This was such a sweet story. I fell in love with the characters and loved how this story unfolded. As the description gives away very little I won’t go into much detail other than to say if you enjoy cute, clean happily ever after tales then you will enjoy this one.

There are so many great characters that have been introduced I hope we get many more stories in this series.
