Not much. I’ve never clicked on one.

 

If a movie was made about your life, who would you want to play the lead role and why?

Helen Hunt. She is talented, likeable, multifaceted, beautiful, and I think she is an authentic and believable character actress.

Can you see yourself in any of your characters?

I see myself in all my characters – especially Iris Brave.

 

If someone wrote a book about your life, what would the title be?

The Girl Who Worried Too Much

 

How did you know you should become an author?

I had a brilliant character in my head, and she wouldn’t go away.

 

If you could have a signed copy of any novel what would it be and why?

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn – because it is as American as you get. I grew up a short car ride away from Hannibal Missouri. Mark Twain was a genius storyteller and Huck was his best character.

People should read my books because Iris Brave is a character that represents the fear and the bravery in all of us.
