Book Summary:

“The Watchers” are supernatural beings in human form, charged with protecting mankind from the armies of darkness. Unfortunately, some of these watchers go bad.

In England, 1270 AD, Auriella flees her village after being accused of witchcraft. pursued by nightmarish creatures, she struggles to accept the truth about her humanity. Filled with fairies, dwarves, pixies, dragons, demons, and monsters, Knight of Light is an enthralling tale that will capture the imaginations of readers young and old.

When Deirdra announced her book coming out, and that she was looking for readers in the teen age group, I asked if I could pretend I was a teen. Before our latest move, I got to know Deirdra because she was in my LDS ward. Her family always seemed to be doing something adventurous. I was hoping Knight of Light would be another book full of adventure and fantasy just like her family.
Not disappointed at all. I would say this book will be mostly enjoyed by the young teen crowd. It’s an adventure of a young girl who is trying to figure out who she is, and where she belongs in this world.  There’s a little something for everyone in this book.
