First off, I love this book’s cover!

As I started to read this book, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it. It seemed too transparent, to easy to untangle its mysteries. As I continued to read, I got drawn into the world of the book. I really like the world the author created for this book. And I really liked the characters. There really weren’t that many surprises in the book. But I did really enjoy the book all the same. The ending was open enough to leave room for future books, which I hope will come. I plan to read them if they do. I love fairy tale spin-offs, and this was good one.
