Book Summary:
A luxurious mansion. Thirty stunning bachelorettes. One very eligible bachelor. All of the ingredients are in place for a successful reality dating show, and behind the scenes, Tori Winters is set to pull the romantic strings as assistant director of Vows. Despite her distaste for public exhibitions of love—which spelled the death of her last relationship—Tori intends to give the public exactly what they want: scintillating footage of a bevy of beauties vying for the attention of Christopher Caine. But Chris, a consummate Southern gentleman and the star of Vows, seems almost too good to be true—and soon, even Tori finds herself falling under his spell. Despite legal obligations to avoid fraternizing with the talent, it’s clear her feelings are anything but unrequited. With the support of her friends in the Newport Ladies Book Club, Tori must make a life-altering decision: is she willing to jeopardize all she’s worked for in order to embrace her own fairy-tale ending?

Cheryls review
This book is engaging and fun. I was delighted to read Tori’s story after seeing how she supports other characters in the Newport Ladies Book club. “Victoria’s Promise” is a part of the Newport Ladies Book Club series. It works well as a stand alone book too.

Tori is an Assistant Director on the reality show Vows. Her ambition is to become a screen writer. She is not prepared for the drama that unfolds as she and the bachelor of Vows are drawn toward each other. This is strictly against the contract. She tries desperately to follow the contract only to be disappointed to give up what has become the most important part of her life.

I loved the ending. I kinda saw what what was coming. Still it was big fun and happened in a way I did not expect, with a few twists and turns along the way. The characters were fabulous. I really enjoyed the setting too. It was a truly an enjoyable read.

  1. I love the cover. I like that she is working on the show and not an actual participant. I use to love the Bachelor but not so much any more. I don’t like watching one man make out with 15 girls. It irritates me. This sounds like a fun read though. I think I would like it knowing she is not actually one of the “girls” from the show. Thanks for the review

  2. THANK YOU for a great review! I am so glad you liked the book! 🙂
