Alisas review

I usually stay away from the New Adult genre because it has a reputation for not being clean. So I am really excited for this new series by Lee Strauss.

I loved the characters Katja and Micah. They are real, they are flawed and they are doing their best. And in the end, they make each other better.

I loved how no one fit in a stereotype. Katja comes from poverty, but she is working hard and following her dream. When her family needs her, she is there for them! Micah comes from privilege, but he is kind and gracious. He is attracted to Katja’s generosity and liveliness. I love that while Micah is physically attracted to Katja, he gets her emotionally and mentally, too!

It was also fun to get a look at the indie music scene! I am definitely looking forward to reading more books in this series…

Note: This is not a rated “G” book; there are innuendos and heavy kissing, but no premarital sex — there is also a reference to sexual abuse; it is definitely not for younger readers.
