Blog Tour: Unbelievable by Sherry Gamon

Deliah Lopez Dreser’s in town to take care of family business. They say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, but there’s more to Lilah than meets the eye. Cole’s in danger of losing his heart when this firestorm throws sparks his way. However, is she simply playing him for the fool in order to exact revenge for her brother’s murders?
Maggie and Seth’s reaction when the truth is revealed pushes friendship to the limit. And this time around it won’t be a Dreser causing an uproar in Port Fare. It will be Cole’s good friend Booker. But does Booker have it all wrong?  Usually not!

Author Sherry Gamon

Unlovable was Sherry’s debut novel and quickly rose to many top seller lists on Amazon. She is pleased to announce that Unlovable is currently being made into a movie. She has added three more novels to her body of work. Souls in Peril, the poignant story of Max Sanchez who is on a journey to help the struggling JD Miller survive high school, and Pete & Tink, a fun, light-hearted novella of a manga-loving geek and and five-and-a-half inch fairy. And UNBELIEVABLE, Book 2 in the Port Fare Series
Sherry and her husband, along with their children and a couple of crazy dogs, call Upstate New York home. It is where she spends her nights writing instead of sleeping {:

If you were stranded on a desert island what 3 things would you want with you?

I’d only need one thing, a cell phone so I can call for help! Duh!

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

Rocky Road. Sadly they don’t sell it in New York, at least not that I’ve seen

Pet Peeves?

Lousy drivers! Why can’t everyone drive like me 😉

Any other books in the works?

Goals for future projects? I am working on a short story for an anthology I’m doing with two other authors tiled Loving Marigold. It is a romance story about a witch! And I am working on book three of my Port Fare Series, Unbearable.

Tell us your most rewarding experience since being published?

The wonderful letters I’ve received from my readers. They are so kind and supportive!

Is there a song you could list as the theme song for your book or any of your characters?

Lifehouse: Between the Raindrops!! Perfect!

What’s one piece of advice you would give aspiring authors?

Join a critique group and NEVER give up…Okay that’s two! But both are important!

If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?

Hawaii…no Paris…no, definitely Hawaii…but then again…

Favorite Candy?

Cinnamon gummy bears!

How do you react to a bad review?

Depends. If they are written maliciously, I don’t read them. You’d be surprised how many people out there purposely write mean reviews. I’ve read some for a very popular book (not mine) and was disgusted in all the time and effort these people took to attack the author, even using MANY gif files (animated movie clips) and down-right cruel words because THEY didn’t like the novel. Wow! What a lot of bad karma! If the reviews are constructive, without being mean-spirited, I read and glean what I feel will help me improve.

If you were a super hero what would your kryptonite be?

Chocolate!! It will be the death of me…Death by Chocolate…a dream come true!

If you could have a signed copy of any novel what would it be and why?

Les Misérables by Victor Hugo!

If someone wrote a book about your life, what would the title be?

“Please Tell Me She Didn’t Say That! The Story of Sherry Gammon putting her foot in her mouth…yet again!”

What TV show/movie/book do you watch/read that you’d be embarrassed to admit?

House Hunters International!

Finish the sentence- one book I wish I had written is….

Les Misérables

In your wildest dreams, which author would you love to co-author a book with?

Neil Gaiman; LOVE this guy!! He’s awesome!!

Happiest moment in your life so far?

Giving birth to my children…well, not the painful birthing part, but right after!

If you were President for a day, what is the first thing you would do?

I would create a law that would allow me to FIRE every politician who has been in office longer than 2 terms and I’d get rid of lobbyist!

Are you for or against books being made into movies?

For, but books are better, by far. My first book Unlovable, is being made into a movie and you have to take out sooooo much. I am helping with the screenplay and it is tough to decide what gets axed.
