Top Ten Tuesday – Been on my To-Read list for too long

The Broke and the Bookish

This weeks list is a “freebie”.  I’ve opted to share the 10 books I really want to read that have been on my to read list for at least 3 years.  I need to print this out and hang it above my computer to ensure I read them before the end of 2013.

Redwall by Brian Jacques – I’ve heard great things about this series and I’m sure I would love it but… there are so many books I’m scared to start it because it is such a commitment

These is My Words by Nancy Turner – This is one of the few book group books I never read. Always felt guilty that I didn’t read it

Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer – I’ve never read it because I was hoping it would be finished someday but I’ve given up hope and will likely break down and read it

Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones – I loved this movie and want to read the book

Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier – Recommended by a good friends

The Hourglass Door by Lisa Mangum – Always wanted to read this series and never had

Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier – I read it years ago and want to go back and reread it

Storm Glass by Maria Snyder – Love her writing and need to read this series

The King of Torts by John Grisham – One of my good friends and her husband recommended this one

The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis – Read this years ago and want to reread

  1. OH you should definitely read Redwall! My dad read one or two to me as a kid, and I ended up reading the rest on my own throughout the rest of my childhood and into my teen years. They are so very good.
