ERIK OLSEN lives in Sandy Utah, where he enjoys the mountains and is surrounded by a great family and friends that have continued to support him throughout his writing quest. After having one of the world’s craziest dreams, he began writing a series of five books detailing it, called Flin’s Destiny, which is full of continuous action and adventure deep in the earth and keeps you wanting more.
If you could travel in a Time Machine would you go back to the past or into the future?
Into the past all the way!
What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Rocky Road, oh . . . yeah!!!
What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast?
Pancakes, eggs and bacon.
One food you would never eat?
Frog legs, tied with, Escargot.

Well, I for one think that if you want a really good fantasy that takes you somewhere else rather than reality, try this, I think you’ll like it!
Any other books in the works?
Yes, the five books in the Flin’s Destiny Series is already complete, and I’ve already started another series called, Grenwitch Parrish.
What inspired you to want to become a writer?
A seriously crazy, yet fun Dream.
What was your favorite book when you were a child/teen?
The Great Brain Series.
What’s one piece of advice you would give aspiring authors?
Write what you’re passionate about, or eventually you lose the desire to write.
If you could choose only one time period and place to live, when and where would you live and why?
The age of the Vikings! Life wasn’t so routine and serious.
What is your favorite Quote?
It’s the Journey in life, not the destination. Or, a line from my book, Head Revels says, “It’s not what life brings to you, but what you bring to life.”
What movie and/or book are you looking forward to this year?
The Hobbit, which I’ve already seen.
Cinnamon, and Vanilla.

Push through it, then go back.
