If you could have any superpower what would you choose?
I would like the ability to clone myself so I could spend time with my kids, do chores, run errands, get work done, and hangout with my hubby, all at once.
What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast?
Carnation Instant Breakfast – milk chocolate flavor
Night owl, or early bird?
One food you would never eat?
All things seafood.
An “I can’t” attitude; easy-open packages that are hard to open; skinny jeans on skinny guys; the fact that I have no control over gas prices.
Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.
In addition to the entertainment value, I believe when you’re done with the book, you’ll get the sense you were meant to read it.
Any other books in the works? Goals for future projects?
The Delusion is the first in a series. I’m hoping for a movie deal.
What inspired you to want to become a writer?
I didn’t set out to be a writer. I spoke my mind in writing and realized I’d become an author.
Tell us your most rewarding experience since being published.
Discovering that one of my books had been translated and circulated in Indonesia. Also, seeing my husband get all caught up in my most recent book.
What was your favorite book when you were a child/teen?
None; I thought reading—particularly fiction—was extremely boring.
What’s one piece of advice you would give aspiring authors?
Quit talking about writing a book, and get started. And allow someone qualified to tell you the truth about your manuscript, even if it hurts and takes you back to square one.
I’m really good at hip hop and break dancing.
If someone wrote a book about your life, what would the title be?
The Girl Who Told the Naked Truth
I have two favorites. I love the way my husband smells, particularly on his neck, and I love the smell of my two-year-old son’s hair after bath time.
If you had 24 hours alone how would you spend it?
Mostly in prayer.
Print or Ebook?
What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
I’m very outspoken about sex-related issues, and some of my closest friends used to be sex addicts.
The Delusion by Laura Gallier
When Owen Edmonds begins experiencing horrifying hallucinations, he struggles to keep it together while frantically searching for a cure. His mission to reclaim his sanity takes a devastating turn for the worse, however, when his delusions become even more shocking and sinister.
Owen’s relentless quest for logical answers leads him to a mind-bending conclusion—he’s not merely imagining forces of evil at work; everyone else is blind to the evil that is.
He has to warn others—to find a way to rescue them—despite their disbelief.
Experience life through Owen Edmonds’ eyes and decide for yourself: Is he deceived or are we?
