What’s the craziest writing idea you’ve had?
Writing a picture book that takes place in reverse time. It’s called Otto Grows Down, and is illustrated by Scott Magoon.

“Don’t listen to advice.” Of course, I had to ignore it.

What movie and/or book are you looking forward to this year?
I love Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, so I’m really looking forward to “Dark Shadows.”

Fifteen years ago, I lost much of my sense of smell. What I miss the most is the scent of the sea.
