When Bridget finds a dead cheerleader in the janitor’s closet, she becomes the killer’s next target. High school just got worse. It’s bad enough that she can hear the shocking truths that pass through her classmate’s heads. Now she has to worry about staying alive, and all clues point to the one person whose thoughts she can’t read – her boyfriend Terrence.

Interview:

Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.
Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you could hear other people’s thoughts? (If your answer is no, I knew you were going to say that. . . Not really.)

Any other books in the works? Goals for future projects?
THOUGHTLESS is a planned series. I’m working on book two at the moment. I hope to have it out late this summer.

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
My favorite flavor is pumpkin, which stinks because it’s seasonal. But my dad’s been known to buy extra around the holidays. There’s always pumpkin ice cream when I go for a visit!

Pet Peeves?
This is probably a strange one, but when you pay for something with cash and the cashier puts your change on top of your bills. I always drop my change!

What’s one piece of advice you would give aspiring authors?
Be brave, because putting your work out in cyberspace can be scary.

Can you see yourself in any of your characters?
There is actually a little bit of me in every character I write. I don’t intend to do that either. It’s something I realize later while I edit.

Which authors have influenced you most?
Oh, there are so many awesome authors out there I admire! But there is one in particular that fueled my love of books since I was little – Roald Dahl.

Finish the sentence- one book I wish I had written is….
…. Pinkalicious! I know it’s a children’s book but every time I pass it at the bookstore, I think that very thing! I love the illustrations and considering I have a cupcake obsession myself, I often wonder why I haven’t turned pink like the main character.

Hot or Cold?
Cold. I actually prefer cold pizza to hot.

Black or White?
Black

Action or Drama?
There are times when I like one more than the other, but I lean towards action. I LOVE writing it too.

What is your favorite way to spend a rainy day?
Reading of course!

What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
I graduated from college with a Degree in Exercise & Sports Science.
