Interview:
If you could travel in a Time Machine would you go back to the past or into the future?

Definitely the past. I love history, vintage fashion, and I want the future to be a surprise!

If you could meet one person who has died who would you choose?
They weren’t famous, but I’d love to have met my grandparents. They were immigrants from Russia who ended up in Brooklyn and had some stories to tell I am sure. Then, for a fashion obsessive like myself, it would have to be Coco Chanel, of course!

Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.
Fun, Fashion, Time-Travel – I mean why wouldn’t you want to read it?

Any other books in the works? Goals for future projects?
I am working on the third book in the Time- Traveling Fashionista series now. The second book, The Time-Traveling Fashionista at the Palace of Marie Antoinette, comes out this September. Louise’s journey isn’t over yet!

If you could invite any 5 people to dinner who would you choose?
Louisa May Alcott, Roald Dahl, JK Rowling, Judy Blume and Jamie Oliver. I guess I like hanging out with writers! And as for Jamie Oliver, I mean someone has to cook dinner… He would be pretty awesome.

If you were stranded on a desert island what 3 things would you want with you?
My Kindle, my best friend (although she probably wouldn’t appreciate that!) and a Brita.

What is your favorite scene in the book and why do you love it?
My favorite is the scene when Louise first enters Marla and Glenda’s mysterious Traveling Vintage Sale. Even though it’s chapter ten in the book, it was the first one I wrote. I saw it so clearly in my head- it was almost like watching a movie.

Favorite places to travel?
Morocco, Paris, Tokyo, Rome, Madrid, Lake Atitlan in Guatemala and Tulum, Mexico. I LOVE traveling, clearly.

In your wildest dreams, which author would you love to co-author a book with?
Judy Blume. As far as YA fiction, in my opinion, she’s the best. Her books are classics.

Stand Alones or Series?
Series! Once I get connected to characters I always want to know what happens next…

Favorite quote from a movie?
“What about prom Blaine, what about prom?”
I love anything with Molly Ringwald and Andrew McCarthy. And the prom. Hence why I own Pretty in Pink and watch it way toomuch.

What do you love to do when you’re not writing?
I love reading, swimming, vintage shopping, and going to the movies. Luckily all of those things actually help my writing in their own way.
