If you were a superhero what would your name be?
My name would be Captain Carbs, but I can’t take credit for that name. It was given to me by a dear friend because of my love of starchy foods.

Night owl, or early bird?
Totally a night owl. I rarely call it a night before 1am.

Is there a song you could list as the theme song for your book or any of your characters?
I would choose “Light Reading” by Late Night Alumni as the theme for the book. The mood of the song is perfect for the contemporary vibe of the book, the title is perfect, and LNA is one of my favorite bands.

Can you see yourself in any of your characters?
I can see my DNA in every character, but, strangely enough, I see the most of me in my male protagonist Marco.

How did you celebrate the sale of your first book?
I had a good toe wiggle. My toes wiggle when I’m excited.

If you could be one of the Greek Gods, which would it be and why?
I would choose Aphrodite because she is the Goddess of all things self-indulgent. (love, beauty, pleasure, procreation)

What inspired you to want to become a writer?
I was inspired to be a writer through my love for reading and my admiration of the people who created the worlds that I loved to escape to so much.

Tell us your most rewarding experience since being published.
The most rewarding experience has definitely been connecting with so many creative, talented, and driven people in the publishing and book world.

If you could meet one person who has died who would you choose?
I would choose Jesus. There are so many questions I would like to ask Him directly and I can imagine just sitting and talking to Him for hours.

What is your favorite Quote?
“Plant a seed. Reap a harvest.” They are words to live by.

What is your guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure is bacon. And “Jersey Shore”. Preferably munching on a bacon sandwich while watching “Jersey Shore”. Pure debauchery…

If you could travel in a Time Machine would you go back to the past or into the future?
I would go back to the past, but only if I could take my current wisdom with me.

What’s one piece of advice you would give aspiring authors?
Get it written down! Don’t agonize so much about every little detail during the process. That’s what the editing process is for.

What do you do in your free time?
Free time? What’s that? Seriously, I like to do anything that allows me to express myself in some way. Anything from socializing with friends to developing new book ideas or business ideas is fair game.

Pet Peeves?
I hate when people spit in public. It makes me nauseous.

Any other books in the works? Goals for future projects?
I am currently editing book 2 of the “Love & Wrath” series and I’m hoping to have it available for purchase by November 1. I am also shopping an inspirational photo book around to a couple of publishing houses. Hopefully, it will find a home in time for the holidays.

Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.
You should read my book because it’s a true page-turner complete with suspense, intrigue and romance, all laid out in vivid detail.
