She graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Fine Art.

If you could travel in a Time Machine would you go back to the past or into the future?
Past. I would go back to the age of Charles Dickens. I’d love an excuse to wear dresses like that.

If you were stranded on a desert island what 3 things would you want with you?
My cats (if I could count them as one), My family (Husband and Baby), and a tool kit, lol. Boring, but you need the tools to survive! Tom Hanks would have been way better off with a few tools…

What is one book everyone should read?
Eckhart Tolle: A New Earth (Boring, I know, but true. Everyone should read that book)

If you were a superhero what would your name be?
Easy! Abracadabra

If you could have any superpower what would you choose?

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast?
Honey Nut Cheerios

What’s your favorite music genre? Favorite artist? Song?
Dave Matthews Band: Satellite

Is there anything you need in order to write? (ie Chocolate, quiet, music)
Quiet music, full stomach.

Night owl, or early bird?
Early bird. I got to bed at 8, ha ha. My husband trades stock, and living on the west coast that means the market opens at 6:30, so he’s up by 4:45 to prepare. I figure I may as well get up too.

One food you would never eat?
Corned Beef

Pet Peeves?
Husband talking on the phone while I’m watching a movie.

Skittles or M&Ms?
Sour Skittles

If you could be one of the Greek Gods, which would it be, male or female, doesn’t matter and why?
Aphrodite: I love to be in love 🙂

What is your favorite sport to watch on TV?

How do you react to a bad review?
Positively. I went to art school, so I’m used to criticism. I don’t really see how any bad review could be a bad thing. It gives you something to grow on.

If you could be a paranormal creature, what would you choose to be?
An angel.

What is your favorite book that has been made into a movie?
I’m waiting on Hunger Games…

What do you do when you are in-between books?
Mostly chores. I love to travel, but I’m such a home body. I do a lot of promoting, and I work for a publisher as a principal designer. I keep busy.

Where is your favorite place to read/write?
On the couch in front of the TV. I turn a music channel on, or I watch the Today Show.

Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.
Because it’s different, I don’t like to follow rules, and luckily my publisher gives me the freedom not to.

What is your guilty pleasure?
Facebook games.

What TV show/movie/book do you watch/read that you’d be embarrassed to admit?
I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant on TLC

How did you celebrate the sale of your first book?
Went to my favorite restaurant, Swilley’s

How would you describe the target audience for your book? How would you classify your book (which genre)?
Target audience is teens, ages 16-19, but also women 20-50. Paranormal Romance.

Book of Love (Knight Angels #1)

When seventeen-year-old Jane Taylor witnessed her father’s death, something happened to her. Ever since, her thoughts have been consumed by death, going so far as to foresee the ever-changing deaths of those around her. Sixteen-year-old Emily Taylor resented her sister’s closeness with their father, who died when she was six. With the strange ability to read minds, she drowns the voices out with drugs, sending Jane over the edge. When seventeen-year-old Wes Green was adopted, he moved in next door to Jane, finding in her a childhood friend turned high-school crush. All summer, the pain in his bones seemed unwarranted. He was done growing long ago. When senior year starts, however, the pain only gets worse. The foreseen changes are not expected, and far too animal for his taste. When Max Gordon found himself standing above the dying body of an innocent seven-year-old girl, he saw in her eyes something he hadn’t seen in the century he’d spent roaming Earth. Her father was already dead, but there was hope to save her. Jane was her name, and already she was all he ever wanted. It was his job to bring her back, and it was his job to protect her – the biggest mistake of his life. When these four teens enter Glenwood High their senior year, no one but Max could understand the future ahead of them. Drawn together by blood and friendship, they each hide a dark secret that will soon bind them together. Max has to protect Jane, Jane wants to be normal, Wes wants Jane to love him, and Emily just wants the voices to stop… But their fate just wants them dead.

Book of Revenge (Knight Angels #2)
New characters, New world, but old enemies. Emily struggles to ignore a new friend with emotions that temp her, Wes delves deeper into his past and family while finding friendship isn’t reserved for the human race alone, Jane finds out her dear Max isn’t what he seems, Greg’s friendships cost him more than he expected, and Max forgets that the truth is best. But then again, someone always has to be the liar… Emotional baggage, begrudged enemies, and the bitterness that comes when the honeymoon of their friendship fades… Will the love survive, or as it all just a game?
